Episode 8: 1970s Dystopias

Some say the world will end in fire (like the heat of a 2022 New York soylent line in 1973’s SOYLENT GREEN), some say in ice (like the cold chambers of frozen Runners maintained by the mad robot Box in 1976’s LOGAN’S RUN). Either way, things are looking bad for the Earth and the human race, at least as far as these two ’70s dystopic cinema classics are concerned. Natalie and Arnold take a look at a pair of the most memorable explorations of our possible future, one set only two years from now (!), the other centuries away. So check your lifeclock, have a strawberry or two, and listen to the latest GHOULS IN THE HOUSE! Note: This is epic length!

And remember, when you’re listening to this podcast, the only ghoul in the house…is YOU!
