Episode 28: Seaside Terror Towns – Messiah of Evil and Dead and Buried

Natalie and Arnold travel to the coast (or is it both coasts) to take in some refreshing sea air and explore the drab, depressing, and demonic doings at two creepy seaside towns, Point Dune (Dume?) and Potter’s Bluff. First up, a young woman visits her father’s disturbing beachfront art studio and enters a Romero-esque, Lynchian world of slow burn intrigue, in MESSIAH OF EVIL (1973)! Then, it’s off to investigate a series of bizarre murders in a place where the dead refuse to stay buried, in, well, DEAD & BURIED (1981)! So, avoid movie theaters, stay out of hospitals, and better yet, just go back home and enjoy this salt-sprayed episode of GHOULS IN THE HOUSE!

And remember, when you’re listening to this podcast, the only ghoul in the house…is YOU!

Show Music: “Cemetery Dance” by The Vivisectors.
